Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2023 will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati on February 12, 2023. JAM 2023 applications are now being accepted online, starting today, September 7.
In order to register for the IIT JAM 202 examination, candidates need to go to the web site jam.iitg.ac.in. Students who are interested in taking the examination can register for it until October 11, 2022.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and National Institute of Technology (NIT) accept students who have passed an undergraduate degree or are in their final year of a university degree program. National candidates of all ages are eligible to sit for the exam. Only one year will be allowed to use the JAM 2023 results.
A Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted in over 100 cities across India for IIT JAM 2023. This test is divided into seven papers, with each paper consisting of one question in one subject area, including Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics. The candidates have the option of taking either one or two test papers as part of the preparation process.
Through this exam, over 3000 seats in various IITs and over 2000 seats in various NITs will be filled for the master’s programmes including MSc, MSc (Tech), MSc – MTech Dual Degree, MSc – MS (Research), Joint MSc – PhD, MSc – PhD Dual Degree and Integrated PhD.
In addition to IISc Bangalore, other centrally funded technical institutions may use the JAM 2023 score.
It is a requirement that students apply for admission to master’s courses at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and
Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, the Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) Punjab, the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISERs).

Is a Multi-Disciplinary Essay Test (MDET). Multi-Disciplinary Essay Test (MDET) will be conducted in a variety of subjects including Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA) and Physics (PH). In all, there are about 30 CFTIs that are likely to use JAM 2023 scores for over 2300 seats, including NITs, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER, IIPE, JNCASR, SLIET.

A page for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT JAM2023) has been launched by the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) today, September 7. Applications can be submitted until October 11 on the official website jam.iitg.ac.in.
Computer-based tests (CBTs) will be administered on February 12 in two sessions. March 22, 2023, is the date set for the announcement of the results.
